About This Hosta
Hosta 'Munchkin Fire' is a vigourous new yellow miniature hosta that is the perfect size for troughs, rock gardens and Fairy Gardens. The short, narrow leaves hold their bright yellow colour all season long. Since the leaves are so narrow there isn't a prominent leaf base, and the leaves simply taper to become part of the petiole. Lavender flowers appear above the petiole in mid-summer.
Bloomfest Garden Art Show
Mark your calendar for July 20-28. We will be open every day during that time. Our Bloomfest Garden Show is happening and our daylily field will be in full bloom. This year we will be displaying the work of 23 artists throughout the gardens and daylily field. It is easy to visualize how a piece of art might look in your own garden when you see it in displayed in a garden here.
