About This Hosta
Hosta 'Sutter's Mill' is a hybrid of H.'High Noon'× H.'Big John'. This is a non-registered cultivar developed by Bob Balitewicz of Indiana. It is a large, semi-upright plant grows up to 75 cms high and spreads to make an impressive clump. The individual leaves are 36 x 25 cms (14 x 10 in). The foliage has thick substance, is unruly and moderately corrugated. Very pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-June into July.
