About This Hosta
This beautifully variegated, majestic hosta is the result of a cross between 'Empress Wu' and 'Niagara Falls'. 'Drop-dead Gorgeous' features large, ovate leaves with green centers and brightly contrasting yellow margins. The margins are heavily rippled and give the leaves a lightly wavy overall effect. Leaf size is 43 x 38 cms (17 x 11 in). White flowers appear above the foliage in midsummer. A showy specimen for the shade!
Bloomfest Garden Art Show
Mark your calendar for July 20-28. We will be open every day during that time. Our Bloomfest Garden Show is happening and our daylily field will be in full bloom. This year we will be displaying the work of 23 artists throughout the gardens and daylily field. It is easy to visualize how a piece of art might look in your own garden when you see it in displayed in a garden here.
