'Dancing Queen' is eye catching from spring to fall. The new leaves open bright gold gradually lightening as the season progresses. They are long, pointed, and heavily rippled. As the clump matures they become more intensely textured with distinctive piecrusting. They are stiff enough to grow up and out from the center of the plant. 'Dancing Queen' is an improvement on many other yellows that lose their colour in the summer. It is effective in a container or in the border where it looks wonderful with dark leaves Heucheras.
