About This Hosta
Hosta 'Age of Gold' is a new introduction from Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens. With its upright spreading habit and large smooth leaves this large, golden yellow hosta will make a big statement in the shade. In midsummer, near white, tubular flowers appear with a very faint pale lavender central pattern on the interior petals. Plant it in morning sun or filtered shade for the best yellow colour.
Bloomfest Garden Art Show
Mark your calendar for July 20-28. We will be open every day during that time. Our Bloomfest Garden Show is happening and our daylily field will be in full bloom. This year we will be displaying the work of 23 artists throughout the gardens and daylily field. It is easy to visualize how a piece of art might look in your own garden when you see it in displayed in a garden here.
