Even before the first flowers appear, Rainbow Sensation™ Weigela stands out due to the beutiful, variegated foliage. Dense clusters of soft pink flowers appear in May or June. This compact shrub is especially well suited to urban environments where it is exceptionally cold hardy and performs beautifully with minimal care.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Weigela are fast growing, easy care shrubs that are adaptable to a range of soil conditions. They are happiest in average well drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate very light shade. They are  also somewhat tolerant of clay soil. They should be pruned after flowering to shape them.
