Hydrangea 'Quick Fire' is the most popular of the hydrangeas that we carry. It is also the earliest to bloom starting to flower several weeks before other paniculata types. The white blooms appear in early summer and deepen into pink by late July and then to rosy red by fall. In the standard form it functions like a small tree in the landscape. It is perfect to anchor the corner of a small garden or the center of a bed. It looks attractive from spring to fall.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Hydrangea 'Quick Fire' is very easy to grow, adapting to a broad range of soil conditions. Full sun to light shade in well drained, organically rich soil with even moisture will produce the best growth. However it thrives in our windswept display garden which only gets watered when absolutely necessary. Pruning should be done in early spring to shape the shrub and keep it the size you want. Prune any suckers that appear at the base of the plant.
