Vanilla Strawberry™ Panicle Hydrangea features enormous flower heads that are held upright on red stems. The flowers emerge creamy white in midsummer, change to pink as the night temperatures drop, and finally turn strawberry red later in fall. New flowers emerge as older blooms change colour, giving Vanilla Strawberry™ a multicolored effect in late summer and early fall. The large blooms are excellent for fresh cut and dried flower arrangements.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Provide average, well drained soil and plenty of moisture in full sun to partial shade. Panicle Hydrangeas can be pruned in late fall or early spring because they bloom on new wood. The spent flowers can be pruned off after blooming or left until the spring for winter interest. Like most shrubs, Hydrangeas appreciate having a layer of mulch around their roots starting an inch away from the base. Not only will it keep the root system protected, but it'll conserve water and keep the garden looking neat and tidy!
