' Little Hottie® is a compact panicle hydrangea with brilliant white blooms that stand up to the warm summer sun without burning. It is very compact, making it ideal for smaller landscapes where traditional panicle hydrangeas won’t fit. As evening temperatures drop in the fall, the petals turn antique shades of white and pink.
Provide average, well drained soil and plenty of moisture in full sun to partial shade. Panicle Hydrangeas can be pruned in late fall or early spring because they bloom on new wood. The spent flowers can be pruned off after blooming or left until the spring for winter interest. Like most shrubs, Hydrangeas appreciate having a layer of mulch around their roots starting an inch away from the base. Not only will it keep the root system protected, but it'll conserve water and keep the garden looking neat and tidy!
