'Bobo' is the first hardy Hydrangea for our area that is suitable for a small garden. It packs a big punch with masses of white flowers on a very compact plant. In full bloom you can hardly see the foliage because it flowers so profusely. The flowers are held upright on strong stems that continue to grow and lengthen as they bloom. In the fall the flowers take on a pinkish cast. 'Bobo' is a very useful plant because it will work in so many situations. It is a stand out in a container, a mixed border, or as a specimen in a shrub border.
Hydrangea 'Bobo' prefers an evenly moist, well drained site in partial shade. If constant moisture is available it will grow in full sun. It blooms on new wood so it can be pruned to shape it in the spring. A mulch around the roots is helpful to retain moisture.
