Sedum ‘Cherry Truffle’ forms a dense mound of bicolour purple-black and gray-green leaves in the spring which deepen to purple black later in the season. Warm-pink flowers top the plant in late July lasting well into late summer. This sedum has excellent vigour and a strong upright habit. Both the foliage and spent flower heads remain attractive throughout the fall into the winter providing a long season of interest.
Sedums are "plant and forget" perennials. Because of their ability to store water in their thick succulent leaves they are very drought tolerant. They do well in average well drained soil in full sun to light shade. Do not add extra organic material because this will make the plants open and floppy.
