'Summer' Crush Betony features a dense mound of attractive bright green crinkly, aromatic foliage to about 30 cms tall and 61 cm wide. In late spring through early summer tall stems bearing vertical, showy, wand-like clusters of two-lipped bicolour white and pink flowers stand up well above the foliage. Butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial pollinators enjoy this plant. The flowers are excellent for cutting.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Grow Stachys in full sun to part shade in well drained soil. Amend clay soil with compost to promote drainage. Divide it in the spring when the plant becomes woody or the center dies out. Cut down spent flowers to maintain an attractive apperance.
