Rudbeckia 'American Goldrush' is destined to be the new staple for landscapes! It makes a mound of golden yellow flowers with black centers that are produced heavily from July until frost. Thanks to the thinner and hairier leaves, this hybrid Rudbeckia shows no signs of fungus and mildew even in wet, humid conditions.
Rudbeckias are easy to grow in average well drained soil in full sun to partial sun. Remove the spent flower heads to encourage repeat bloom. Toward the end of the flowering season leave the flower heads for the birds to eat over the winter.
