Rodgersia 'Cherry Blush' forms large clumps of rough, quilted foliage. The green leaves take on bronze hues in spring and again in fall. The tall panicles of pink flowers are produced in late spring.
Rodgersia thrives in moist soil that is amended with lots of organic material. It prefers partial shade to full shade. The more sun Rodgersia gets the more moisture it will require. The dried flower heads are very attractive and can be left standing through the winter. An organic mulch is recommended for winter protection and to conserve moisture.
