Pink Chenille' has large, fluorescent pink flowers with a lighter pink interior for a two-tone effect. It is part of the Upscale series from Proven Winners. This series features plants with fantastic flowering performance including side branching which results in a second flush of bloom. Monarda is native to eastern North America, so it is easy to grow and it multiplies quickly. The flowers' sweet nectar attracts scores of hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to the garden. The aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed and is often used to flavor teas.

Monarda enjoys rich moist soil, however it is adaptable to average soil. Sun is best but light shade is tolerated. Dead head spent flowers to prolong bloom. This cultivar has good mildew resistance but ensure that air circulation is good and the soil does not dry out. Regular division is necessary to keep the plants healthy.
