Helleborus 'Tropical Sunset' is part of the HONEYMOON® Series of Hellebores bred by Chris Hansen. He selects for large flowered Hellebores with vigorous growth and abundant flowers. This selection has large, single creamy yellow flowers that are dramatically streaked with burgundy red veining and picotee. Yellow is an unusual colour in Hellebores and is very noticeable in the garden.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Despite their reputation of being hard to grow, Hellebores are not fussy plants. Give them rich, moist organic soil and shade from hot afternoon sun during the summer. They can even tolerate short periods of drought. Hellebores are evergreen so, after the plants are actively growing, trim back any foliage that has been damaged in the winter. Hellebores are poisonous so do not consume any part of the plant.
