Heliopsis helianthoides 'Burning Hearts' is a beautiful, vibrant cultivar, sure to attract attention.The dynamic yellow-orange flowers have deeper coloured centers and are offset by its deep purple foliage. Growing and Maintenance Tips
'Burning Hearts' is easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. It is drought tolerant but does better if regularly watered. It tolerates a wide range of soils, including poor ones. It will grow in light shade, but plants grown in too much shade will be floppy and will not blooms a sprofusely. Remove spent flowers to extend the blooming season. If desired, pinch back in May to encourage more bloom and a shorter height.
