Aster 'Wood's Pinnk' is a dense, mounding plant that produces an abundance of bright pink, daisy-like blooms over fine-textured, glossy green foliage. This superior dwarf variety is excellent for the front of a border, for use as edging, and in containers. An American native wildflower that is equally at home in gardens and woodlands. The blooms are attractive to butterflies.
This aster thrives in moist, fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soils but is highly adaptable. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. For a neat, tidy appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge.
