About This Grass
'Eldorado' is a very attractive variegated selection of Feather Reed Grass, suited to a multitude of uses and not invasive in any way. The green leaves are striped down the middle with gold, making it quite striking in designs. Soft feathery greenish-mauve plumes appear in early to midsummer, maturing into stiff wheat-coloured spikes, which last into winter. It may be used in large groupings towards the back of a border, but also very effective when used as a single specimen.

- Cold Hardiness: Zone 4-9
- Sun or Shade: minimum 4 hours of direct sun
- Bloom Time: late summer
- Leaf Colour: green and gold
- Bloom Colour: greenish mauve toning to tan
- Critter Resistance: deer and rabbits
