'Last Man Standing' is one of the latest daylilies to bloom, hence the name. It is well-worth the wait because its sturdy, 5-way branched scapes carry a very impressive 45 to 50+ buds apiece for an incredible late summer show. It is classified as a rose red bicolour. There are shades of bright pinkish red on the top petals and peach with a rose blush on the sepals. A gold throat and pinkish red stamens radiate out from the center. A frilly gold, narrow picotee edge surrounds the diamond dusted petals. As an added bonus it is registered as fragrant.
