Each specimen of 'Fukuzumi' is unique. It develops multiple leaders that extend at 45° angles, with short, blue-green, twisted needles. It may mature to a low, wide shape or develop a more dense, prostrate form. It can also be trained into an upright form. Whatever form it takes the naturally windswept character of the slow-growing Pine will add a distinctive sculptural element to the garden. The small blue-green needles are soft and somewhat silvery.
