'Fuzzball' is a charming cold hardy evergreen with attractive, fuzzy. bright green foliage that turns a striking purplish-brown in winter. It is a small conifer with a dense vase shaped habit well suited for rock gardens.
'Fuzzball' prefers moist, well-drained but will tolerate some dryness once established. Though its colour and habit is best with a minimum of six hours of sun, microbiota tolerates shade better than most conifers. The fine textured foliage is soft to the touch. Little pruning is needed. Control the spread, if desired, by pruning out branches as required.
