Available mid May
Siberian cypress is a hardy, low growing evergreen for sun or shade, but the species is often plagued with tip die-back. Celtic Pride® microbiota solves that with superior disease resistance and beautiful winter colour. The fern-like green foliage turns an attractive russet colour in winter. It is really useful in a woodland garden where it will spread to make a beautiful groundcover. It is a great alternative for those who don't like the sharp foliage or look of juniper.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
We have Siberian Cypress in the garden and have found it to be a very easy care conifer. It will grow in full sun to part shade but prefers afternoon shade in a hot location. Well drained soil is a must, but it is tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Although it tolerates drier soils once established, an organic mulch of wood chips is recommended to keep the root zone cool and moist. It can be planted on gentle (not steep) slopes, or trailing over ledges.
